realme 16 Pro

For budget-minded buyers who want a thin, durable phone with a huge battery and a high-resolution main camera, and who don't need zoom or strong gaming performance.

Good

• 7000 mAh battery with 80 W charging in a 7.8 mm, 192 g body
• 1.5K 144 Hz AMOLED display
• IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance

Less good

• No telephoto camera and only an 8 MP ultrawide
• Dimensity 7300 Max is only entry-level for performance
• Plastic frame and no wireless charging; EU version has a smaller 6500 mAh battery
