Apple iPhone Duo vs Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8
Our take
This is Apple's first foldable and Samsung's eighth Fold. Both open to a 7.6-inch screen and neither has a zoom lens. The Duo is faster and rated IP68, but it weighs 254 g, versus 201 g for the Fold8.
Choose the Apple iPhone Duo
If your other devices are Apple's and you want a small tablet in your pocket. Its IP68 rating also means dust is less of a worry than on Samsung's foldables, which are rated IP48.
Choose the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8
It's 53 g lighter, and Samsung has had seven tries to get the hinge and the software right. The inner screen is a wide 4:3, which suits video and reading.
