Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8
For people who mainly use a foldable for video, reading and browsing and want a wide 4:3 inner screen, longer battery life and a lighter body for less than the Ultra.
Good
- Longer battery life than the Ultra: 17:21h Active Use Score and 28h+ video in Engadget's test
- Bright, wide 7.6" 4:3 inner screen measured at 3,132 nits peak
- 201 g, Samsung's lightest Fold, with 45W wired and 20W wireless charging
Less good
- No telephoto camera, only 50 MP main + 50 MP ultrawide
- Still expensive at ~£1,500
- IP48 only, and magnetic Qi2 accessories need a case
