Samsung Galaxy S26+ vs Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra
Our take
The Ultra's extras are mostly camera: a 200 MP main sensor, a 50 MP ultrawide and a 5x zoom lens alongside the 3x. You also get the S Pen stylus, 60 W charging and a Snapdragon chip in every country (outside the US, Canada and China the S26+ uses Samsung's own Exynos). The batteries are nearly the same, 4,900 versus 5,000 mAh.
Choose the Samsung Galaxy S26+
Enough if the 3x lens covers your zoom needs. You carry 24 g less and the screen is nearly as good. Do check the prices below: when the Ultra is discounted, the gap can shrink to almost nothing.
Choose the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra
For heavy zoom users and anyone who wants to write on the screen. The 5x lens and 200 MP camera are the best Samsung offers on a phone that doesn't fold, but at 214 g it's heavy.
