realme 16 Pro+

For mid-range buyers who want a real periscope zoom camera and very long battery life in a tough, water-resistant phone without paying flagship prices.

Good

• 200 MP main camera with a 50 MP 3.5x periscope telephoto
• 7000 mAh battery with very good endurance (GSMArena Active Use Score 18:18h)
• IP68/IP69 rating and a bright 144 Hz 1.5K AMOLED display

Less good

• Weak 8 MP ultrawide camera
• Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 is slower than similarly priced rivals
• No wireless charging, USB 2.0 only, and update support is short outside the EU
