Both fold, for opposite reasons. The Flip8 folds a normal-size phone in half so it takes up less room. The Fold8 opens up into a 7.6-inch screen for reading, video and browsing. It also costs a lot more and weighs more, 201 g versus 180 g.

Small in the pocket, light at 180 g, and the 4.1-inch cover screen handles quick replies without opening it. It also costs far less than the Fold.
